Backsliding ...

* Have fallen off my new low-cal lifestyle this week. Will try to recover my initial commitment.
* Compass module & to some extent the Maintenance meter continue to eat my time away from RFID project.

Three day weekend ...

* Freezing rain since Friday night & lots of branches down. Photo shows a power line down in from of our house and the tree limb that took it down.
* MLK day tomorrow so we're off work
* Dressed for church - LCW & I did bulletins yesterday
* Brought RFID work home (with PC) and worked on yesterday.
* Spent Friday helping the capo-de-capo prepare displays for Florida trade show.
* MCW is off school until Wednesday.
* Down to 306.5 from 312.5 two weeks ago. I fall off the wagon occasionally - usually with help.
* HFW called: Sprint will lay off 5000 over the next few months; JMG has prescription to stop smoking and may hear this week about elective surgery; NG's wedding may be in early August.
* LCW, MCW, & I saw "Pursuit of Happyness" this pm - emotional film.
* Invited to be elder at TLC - might accept.

2007 - Week 2 - Monday Monday

* KC Chiefs lost playoffs to Indianapolis yesterday
* My nephew NG is getting married some time this summer and is planning a big wedding (which his mother cannot afford)
* My niece MH is getting married over Memorial Day weekend and is planning a civil ceremony followed by a wedding ceremony on a beach in Cancun, Mexico.
* Implemented a lifestyle adjustment - not a "diet" - at the first of the year and have lost 3 - 5 lbs so far.
* Compass project has quieted down but MMeter is still being pursued in India. RFID Switch is overdue and customer has a new project manager.
* Circulating cards for one dead co-worker (EJB - 12/22/2006) and for a sick co-worker (RH - retired).
* Sister JMG continues to investigate corrective surgery.
* "Moneywell" will defer paychecks for a week starting in April (to synchronize pay periods throughout company). Looks like 40 hrs of lost pay to our office staff (until they retire) and they are po'd about it.
* Weather continues to be warm (for January) and damp.
