Just checking in ... Lila, Mark, and I visited Rox, Kerry, and Joe last week, attended Nathan's wedding, went to Christmas Eve services at Mark's church, and are now chilling at at Jim and Linda's house in Spring Branch.  Plan to watch a Star Wars movie later today.

I made the below Facebook post that I want to store here ...

Stephen White As I understand it Christ's cross was likely never actually "empty.". The vertical post was permanently mounted on Calvary, ( ... and therefore was not as yet a "cross"...) Christ carried the horizontal cross member to Calvary (with help from Simon of Cyrene). Once on Calvary, Christ was (likely) first nailed to the horizontal cross member on which He was then "lifted up" to hang on the vertical post. Upon his death, it seems probable that Christ's body AND the horizontal member were then removed from the vertical post (which was therefore again no longer a "cross"). It therefore seems likely that Christ's "empty cross" may never has existed as such .... QED

President Trump was cleared of collusing with the Russians during his election campaign after two years of investigation ... not everyone is pleased ...

Don continues to heal from his open heart surgery and plans to visit Jake in Colorado in April.

Mark continues to thrive in Austin ... he has re-established contact with Greg Small Jr. who has returned to Springield ...

Greg Small Sr. lost his fatrher ("Shawnwsee") and continues to be bound to a wheelchair ...

Still employed at OMRON ... doing WCCA and DFMEA's for switches ...

John McCain dies and his daughter, Maureen, has been sparring with Trump for his criticism of  her father.

Lila plans to evict Ryan from out house in Springfield in June ... Ryan is living with his fiance at the house ...

Kevin and family are on a Spring Break cruise and had dinner with Paul in New York last week ...

Lila is succeeding at St Paul's ... she is on Spring break this week ...

We are in Lent of course ... Elder duty tomorrow ...

... BTW ... I got a ticket while eating lunch in the car in a parking lot ...

Don is out of quadruple bypass surgery and is recovering in ICU ...

Brother Don called last night ... he said he would be getting open heart surgery! ... last night he thought that it would be on Jan 31 .... this morning he has been sheduled for FRIDAY 1/25.

Lila got a new ipad from Mark last night.
